Traditional with a Twist
We were entrusted with the full renovation and furnishing of this Lincoln Park home for a busy family of five. With an extensive art collection and a deep appreciation for color, the homeowners provided a richly layered point of inspiration from the very beginning. The result is a home that feels expressive yet refined—balancing bold design moments with warmth, functionality, and ease.

FRESH HUES WITH
CLASSIC DETAILS
The home’s classic Chicago layout, with connected living and dining spaces, was the foundation for a dramatic exploration of color and texture. Unexpected blush and deep rose tones envelop the rooms and extend through to the ceilings, creating a sense of intimate cohesion throughout the main floor.

CONTRASTING TEXTURES
AND STYLES
In the formal living room, a floating cloud chandelier, carved marble surround, and curvilinear mohair sofas create a sculptural dialogue within the space. An abstract Greek Key floor covering paired with understated drapery ground the room.

EFFICIENCY AND ELEGANCE
TAILORED TO FIT
Like many homes in the neighborhood, the footprint is narrow, requiring each space to function thoughtfully for an active family. In the kitchen, a custom banquette and tailored dining table maximize every inch while maintaining comfort and flow.

A CUSTOM FAMILY AREA
FOR GATHERING
Just off the kitchen, an intimate family snug offers a soft, re laxed interpretation of the home’s palette. Through thoughtful planning, custom millwork with integrated storage is repeated throughout the home, supporting the rhythms of daily family life while preserving a calm and elevated atmosphere.

WORK AND RELAXATION MERGED SEAMLESSLY
The third floor was reconfigured to maximize functionality and flexibility. A primary office with integrated seating opens onto a rooftop deck, allowing the space to transition from focused work to relaxed evening gatherings. Concealed storage, deep seating, and a hidden beverage fridge bring an understated hospitality to the room while maintaining the tailored aesthetic throughout the home.

EXPANSIVE COLOR
AND TEXTURE
Color continues through the secondary office in the built-in pale blue millwork with bespoke details. The adjacent bath is defined by bold material choices with merlot zellige tile, a golden oak vanity, natural brass fittings, and custom stone detailing—bringing warmth and texture to a space.
