Manor on Grove
Defined by seaside-inspired architecture and generous scale, this Glencoe manor was reimagined through an extensive renovation and full-home furnishings project. The result is a thoughtfully layered family home balancing refined architectural detail with warmth, texture, and livability, creating spaces that feel both elevated and deeply inviting.

A FORMAL DINING ROOM OF PRECISION DETAILS
A custom birdseye burlwood table anchors the dining room, complemented by a generous built-in buffet. Dark slate green walls are punctuated with papered panels, bringing warmth and subtle texture to the space. Bronze sconces and double-tiered metal pendants in an alabaster finish echo the soft curves of the upholstered dining chairs below.
Visible from the dining room, a custom curved banquette and table create an inviting setting for casual family gatherings in the kitchen.

A PRIVATE GUEST RETREAT
Accessed from the formal dining and living rooms, the guest-facing powder room is enveloped in blush-toned plaster walls. A single floral sconce lends quiet elegance to the space. A marble vanity atop a vintage dresser base is paired with a deck-mounted Waterworks faucet in polished nickel with lever handles.

A KITCHEN DESIGN FOR THE AGES
This bright, thoughtfully designed kitchen features a custom banquette with seating for ten, alongside additional seating at the central island. Floor-to- ceiling subway tile emphasizes the room’s height while elevating its quiet, understated palette. Café sheers filter natural light into the space while preserving views of the backyard and complementing the window architecture. Marble counters, walnut cabinetry, and natural brass hardware ground the space with warmth and permanence.

ROOM FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY—AND THEN SOME
Located just off the kitchen, the family room features a custom down-filled sectional and oak console, while integrated storage frames the fireplace. Just beyond the sectional, a window seat with a custom cushion creates a bright retreat for morning coffee. Linen wall-covering adds softness and subtle texture. Leather and rattan lounge chairs paired with a simple marble table complete the nook, layered with a mauve wool rug trimmed in leather.

SIMPLE BATH — BOLD APPOINTMENTS
Bold color and pattern bring personality to the private family powder room adjacent to the family room. A custom vanity with marble counters is paired with a bold organic wallcovering and whimsical mirror.

TEXTURE AND TONE IN UNISON
The primary suite is a study in layered texture and tonal restraint. A sleek iron four-post bed defines the center of the space. A medley of shapes and textures can be seen in the relaxed lines of the drapery, the curvilinear bench, and a unique fabric covered ceiling fixture. Together, these contrasting elements bring warmth, depth, and character to the space. Marble and brass accents complete the room’s serene, considered aesthetic.

Adjacent to the primary suite, a private lounge is appointed with grass cloth wallcovering and custom Roman shades. An extra-deep sofa and chaise, paired with a wall-mounted task lamp, create an ideal setting for reading and evening relaxation.

A BOY’S ROOM
The boy’s room proves that blue can feel both timeless and unexpected. Classic detailing paired with a modern use of primary color brings character and energy to the space. A sculptural chandelier adds sophistication while emphasizing the vaulted ceiling above. A goldenrod mohair chair and navy buffalo-check wool drapery complete the space.
Adjacent to the bedroom is a fresh interpretation of the boys’ ensuite bath. A custom oak vanity with a board-and-batten inspired door profile and natural brass hardware tie in with the bedroom. An oversized mirror, subtle industrial lighting and natural quartzite counters offer durability suited for everyday family life.

The ultimate bunk room features a custom plaid rug that grounds the space, while classic bedding and thoughtfully chosen accents give the room a sense of charm both kids and guests will love.
