Hidden Depths
This meticulous renovation reimagined a poorly planned primary bath as a highly functional, materially rich retreat. Rose marble, Waterworks fittings, and tailored custom millwork establish a timeless design language centered on longevity rather than short-lived trends.
CUSTOM DETAILS FOR BEAUTY AND EFFICIENCY
A detailed custom vanity provides generous surface area while concealing functional elements designed to support everyday use and minimize clutter. Material selection, proportion, and detailing were carefully developed to introduce character into a newer home.
ELEGANT DETAILS WITH DISCREET BUILT-INS AND AMPLE STORAGE
Custom storage was fully integrated into the architecture of the room. Medicine cabinets with built-in outlets are seamlessly concealed within mouldings, maintaining visual continuity. A tall storage tower with antique mirror doors reflects natural light, visually expanding the space. Tilt-out hampers and upper storage for essentials are carefully concealed, maximizing capacity within a compact footprint.
PRIVACY AND ELEGANCE IN TANDEM
A freestanding cast-iron bathtub anchors the room and establishes a clear focal point. Adjacent, an enclosed steam shower clad in dark tile creates contrast and a sense of enclosure, reinforcing the bath as a private retreat.
